Step-by-Step Process to Create a Diagram from a Template
How to Choose and Use a Template for Your Diagram
From the dropdown menu that appears after clicking 'New diagram,' choose the 'From template' option. This action will open the template selection window.
Finding the Right Template: The template window by default displays diagrams available in the 'Public Templates' space. This space is accessible to every registered user and provides a variety of diagram templates categorized by different needs such as Salesforce data models and Salesforce business process templates. These templates are curated by the Elements.cloud team.
Using Search and Filters: You can search for a specific template by its name or use the provided filters and pagiation to narrow down your choices based on the type of diagram you need.
Preview a template before you use it
When you find the diagram that you want, you can click:
'Use template' to create a copy of the template diagram instantly in your space
'Preview' to see more details about the template
When you click 'Preview', you will see another window which will include a longer description of the diagram.
Choosing a different template workspace
Right now, any public space you have joined can be chosen from the first dropdown field as the source of the diagram templates.
Public spaces can be joined by any user in Elements.cloud application.
We are soon going to provide our customers with ability to create 'internal' template space which will be available to all or chosen corporate users and nobody else.

How do I modify a template? You can edit the template once it's copied to your space, just as you would with any other diagram. You cannot edit the source template itself. This is curated by the Elements.cloud team. If you have any feedback or requests for other templates, let us know via chat!
