If you wish to make a space a public space, this means any user in the system can join your space.

To do this, in the upper left hand corner of the toolbar, click the dropdown next to your space and select "Manage spaces"

Once in manage spaces, highlight the space and in the right hand panel you simply toggle "Is public space"
