How to leave feedback inside the app

For most items, the feedback section is located in a tab in the right panel for the selected item (left image). For process diagrams, the feedback section can be found under the icon in the top part of the screen (right image).

How to leave feedback in Salesforce

When using our Chrome extension, end users in your Organization can leave feedback directly against objects and fields. This feedback is logged against corresponding metadata in the Org Model created by the Elements App.

Click on the purple "i" at the top of the record page and click "Leave feedback" to comment on the object or the record. If any of the fields have enabled in-app help, the same purple "i"s will appear against fields with the same option.

How to turn Salesforce feedback off

You can turn the ability to leave feedback off by switching the "Feedback enabled" toggle off in the Org list as shown below:

To do this, you must be the Org owner.

How to collaborate on content

You can "@mention" a user when leaving a comment. If the user is a member of the Space, the system will suggest their username, which you then need to select.
After submitting feedback, that user will be notified of the new comment both via in-app notification and an email.

You can also post replies under the original feedback. The user who posted the original comment will be notified of any reply.

How to be notified of any new feedback

  1. Owners
The owner of the item on which feedback was left will automatically receive an in-app notification, as well as an email with the comment and a link to the parent item. So we don't need to "@mention" an owner of that object.

  2. Salesforce chatter group
If you are using our Salesforce feedback feature, then you might want to set up a Salesforce chatter group where all feedback from the Salesforce end-users is automatically posted to.

  3. Change managers: feedback grid
You can also open the feedback grid inside the main application to review, analyze, and respond to all feedback left by any user across your entire Space.

  4. Following
You can see items which have had comments added (or have been edited) by following them. You will be notified of any feedback / comment added to a followed item.
