You can allow your end users to leave feedback / enhancement requests against your process diagrams as well as Salesforce objects, record types and fields from within the Salesforce UI.
Leaving feedback from Salesforce
When using our Chrome extension, end users in your Org can leave feedback directly against objects, record types, and fields from within Salesforce UI.
Click on the purple "?" at the top of the page or against a field and click "Leave feedback" to leave a comment. You can choose the priority of your request/issue and attach a screenshot of the issue from your computer.
There are additional insights captured automatically:
metadata component against which feedback was left
end- users's group
page URL where feedback was left
record type of the record where feedback was left
Managing who can leave feedback and where
How to collaborate and discuss feedback
You can "@mention" a user when leaving feedback. If the user is a member of the Space, the system will suggest their username, which you then need to select. After submitting feedback, that user will be notified of the new feedback via in-app and email.
You can also post replies under the original feedback if you like. The user who posted the original comment will be notified of any reply.
Elements' feedback can be utilized in a variety of situations:
Consultants can use feedback mechanism in their managed service offering, i.e. can allow their clients, whose Orgs they manage, to leave requests whenever they need something.
Admins can use feedback in Sandboxes on new capabilities to collect end-user feedback as part of User Acceptance Testing.
Business analysts and admins can deploy feedback to the entire organization to allow end-users to report a bug or an issue as soon as it is encountered and collect a continuous stream of enhancement requests.
