Generating the reports

To generate the Org wide comparison must first open the Org model you want to generate the report for.

You can generate an Org wide comparison report by clicking the "Reporting" button in the top right corner, and selecting "Profile/permission set access categories".

You can also generate an Org-wide similarity score report using the large-scale report generator. Navigate to the report generator (box with a downward arrow icon) and select the "Profile/PermissionSet similarity score" report.

This will generate a zip file containing a CSV report for you to download. Once downloaded, extract the file and view it in the CSV file viewer of your choice.

What do the reports tell me?

The "Profile/permission set access categories" report generates an Org wide comparison report on the profiles and permission sets in your Org. This will show you the number of permissions of each type that is allocated in each profile and permission set in your Org.

You can drag columns to create groupings and use the column filters to narrow down your search accordingly.

In the large-scale comparison, the numbers refer to the % similarity between the profiles/permission sets. You can use this report to identify the most similar permissions controllers in your Org.

Downloading the report

To download the access category report, click "Export to Excel" in the top right corner to download a .XLS file of your report.
