Mid December 2021

Release highlights:

  • Mass updates for stories and requirements: You can now multi-select stories and requirements, allowing you to carry out mass updates to standard fields, custom lists and tags, and statuses, as well as mass deletion.

Improvements:

  • CSV imports for stories and requirements: We now accept all your custom fields when importing stories and requirements into Elements.

  • Stories "External ID" field: We have added the "External ID" field as a standard field that is viewable in the stories grid.

  • HTML rendering in imported stories: We now support a greater variety of HTML markup when you import stories and requirements into Elements, which is now rendered in the description and acceptance criteria fields.

Late November 2021

Release highlights:

  • Metadata stakeholders: You can now document which business stakeholders are either responsible or need to be consulted on changing particular metadata items.

Improvements:

  • More data in changes summary email: You told us that you want emails summarizing Org changes to tell specifically what changed in your environment. We therefore extended the email to summarize what changes were made by each metadata type. That way you can easily scan the changes and spot if anything requires more investigation.

Mid November 2021

Release highlights:

  • Salesforce metadata change logs: We now capture and store history of changes to all synced metadata. You can see when was metadata created or updated and by whom. We also store information on when was the metadata deleted.

  • Salesforce metadata change log report: You can run a report against your Org that will list all changes (what metadata, when, by whom) done in the connected environment in the specified time period.

Improvements:

Early November 2021

Release Highlights:

Fixes:

  • Date format in data tables: We fixed date format in data tables and reports on data tables to fit the ISO 8601 standard.

Mid-October 2021

Release Highlights:

  • Large dependency sets: You can now download large sets of dependency data for your Org. You can download list of all dependencies for all fields on an object or list of all fields used by different types of automation.

  • Permission Set Groups: We now sync Permission Set Groups to the Org model, and can display the number of assigned users, and any Permission and/or Muting Permission Sets assigned.

Fixes:

  • Manual JIRA import: We fixed issue with manual import of user stories from JIRA that resulted in other issue types being imported as well.

Early October 2021

Release Highlights:

  • New homepage with recently viewed items: We changed the design of the homepage to show the last 50 items the user interacted with in a given space. This applies to all types of content users can interact with (diagrams, business requirements, user stories, salesforce org model nodes, reference model nodes, URL Library items and Org Analytics Charts).

  • Auto-import of new user stories from JIRA: You can now set up auto-import of new user stories from JIRA to make sure the set of user stories between Elements and JIRA is always up to date.

Improvements:

  • Sticky notes: Sticky notes being added to diagram canvases are no longer tilted and you have a wider selection of colours and rich text editing options to choose from.

  • Removed edit lock from closed stories and requirements: Closed user stories and business requirements are no longer uneditable. You can edit, add documentation and change statuses on them.

Fixes:

  • Reports on user stories: We fixed an issue where reports on user stories would not generate or would bring back incorrect data.

  • Comment counter not working on feedback: The counter on the number of replies in the feedback grid view has been fixed.

  • Blurry/pixelated user avatars: We fixed the issue where users' avatars would appear pixelated in some right panels and notification panels.

  • HTML code visible in imported user stories: We fixed the issue where some of the imported user stories would be displayed with HTML code due to wrong parsing of special symbols.
