Display settings

For 99% of people and devices, you will be fine with your default screen settings combined with the currently supported browsers.

If you are having any issues, or want to create more relatively visible space from a mapping canvas v menu/panels perspective, you will need to experiment with your screen display settings to get the best possible experience. If you display Elements through a projector or a Chromecast device it will probably change the display settings.

Macbooks

On Macbooks, there is sometimes a (generic) conflict with vertical scrolling panels and menus when the Resolution setting (Settings, Display) is at “default for display”. If you are having any issues, simply select “Scaled” and select one of the “more space” options.

Chromecast device

Chromecast is a media streaming device that mirrors your device. Simply plug the Chromecast into the HDMI port on your TV. Then use your mobile device and the TV you already own to cast Elements from your Chrome browser via WiFi. Chromecast works with iPhones, iPad, Android phones and tablets, Mac and Windows laptops, and Chromebook. All for $35/£30. Perfect for demonstrations, events, and exhibitions.
