Late March 2022

Release Highlights:

  • New metadata: We now sync both standard and custom apps and tabs in our org model.

  • Salesforce Clouds: We have added support for more standard objects to fully support an additional 3 Salesforce Clouds in our sync. We now support 8 major Clouds in Elements!

  • Stakeholders: You can now report on stakeholder information in your org and ref models, as well as edit them from the right panel.

Improvements:

  • Dashboards: We have now added information on Dashboard "type" for synced dashboards, available under the summary field in the right panel.

  • Diagram viewers: We have merged the "stakeholder" and "view only" viewing permissions in diagrams. All viewing users can now see attached documentation in the right panel without requiring editor rights.

  • Sharing diagrams: If you're trying to share a diagram but find that you don't have enough permissions, we now provide you with a list of users and email addresses who can help you out.

  • Inviting users: We extended our logic so if you invite a new user to an org or ref model who is not already a member of that Space, we automatically invite them for you.

Fixes:

  • Workflow Field Updates: We have fixed an issue where we were failing to sync Workflow Field Updates in the Org model.

  • Sync failures: Issues causing the daily sync to fail for some users have been identified and fixed.

Mid March 2022

Release Highlights:

  • Custom grid views: You can now create custom grid views for business requirements and user stories. You can choose which columns to show and what filters to pre-apply for each view.

Early March 2022

Release Highlights:

  • Metadata dependencies: We now get and display following dependencies:

  • global and standard value sets used in picklist fields,

  • picklist values used in formula fields,

  • objects used in report types,

  • report types used by reports,

Improvements:

  • Elements emails: We have removed the 'Sync finished' email notifications to simplify communication streams coming from the Elements app. Now the main source of updates for Org model syncs are the change log emails.

Fixes:

  • Flow - Field dependency errors: We have fixed the parsing for our flow - field dependencies, and we should now show the full list of dependencies and “Where used” where decisions and assignments are concerned.

If you continue to experience fields not showing correctly when they are used by a flow please reach out to us at success@elements.cloud to resolve this.

Improvements:

  • User feedback toggle: You can now switch off user feedback at the Org model level.

  • Change log emails: You will no longer receive a daily change log email if there have been no changes to your Org since the last sync.
