You can ensure that JIRA stories get automatically synced into Elements as soon as they are created. This allows you to keep stories always in sync between the 2 systems and to use the extension for impact analysis without leaving JIRA.

Overview

Once you have connected your Elements Space to a JIRA project, you can enable auto-sync of any new user stories created in JIRA to Elements. This ensures that the set of user stories between the 2 systems is the same.

Select your JIRA connection in Space management.

Ensure that the initial status for new stories in JIRA is mapped to the initial status for new stories in Elements.
